These terms cover singlehand.studio, the newsletter, and the services I sell: the SEO audit and the Fix package. They’re written to be read. If anything isn’t clear, email me before you pay.
In these terms, “I”, “me” and “Singlehand” mean the person who runs Singlehand, a sole trader. My legal name appears on every invoice. “You” means the business buying a service, and the person acting for it.
1. Who the services are for
My services are for businesses. By requesting or paying for one, you confirm that you’re buying it for your business, that you’re at least 18, and that you can agree to these terms for your business.
2. How an audit works
- You send your store through the form on this site.
- I look at your store and confirm by email whether the audit is worth your money. If it isn’t, I’ll tell you why, and you pay nothing.
- If it is, you get a Payoneer payment request and a short access guide.
- After you pay, you give me Shopify collaborator access, plus view-only access to Google Search Console if your store uses it. I never ask for your password.
- Your report arrives within 72 hours of that access.
The report includes the ten fixes that matter most (or all of them, if your store has fewer than ten worth making), ranked by impact and effort, each with why it matters, how to make it and roughly how long it takes. It also includes a five-line summary, the results of all 38 checks with evidence, a 30-day plan, and up to three red flags outside SEO. Those red flags are observations, not a full tracking or conversion audit.
3. Prices and payment
- The audit is USD 199 per store, fixed. My first three clients pay USD 99. That launch price is offered in exchange for honest written feedback within 14 days of delivery, which I may quote without your name or your store, and permission to publish an anonymized case study (see section 7).
- Payment is by Payoneer payment request. You can pay by card or bank transfer.
- Audits are paid in full before I start. Fix projects are paid half up front and half on delivery.
- Prices are in US dollars and don’t include any taxes your country applies to services bought from abroad. If any apply, you’re responsible for them.
- Nothing renews on its own.
4. The guarantee
I guarantee the work, not rankings. If I can’t find at least five fixes worth making, you get a full refund.
A fix is “worth making” when it comes with evidence from your store, such as URLs, screenshots or Search Console data; a clear reason it affects your traffic or sales; and steps that you or I can actually carry out.
- If your report has fewer than five, I refund you in full. You don’t have to ask.
- If you believe fewer than five of the fixes in your report are worth making, email me within 14 days of delivery and tell me which ones and why. If we still disagree, I refund you in full. The benefit of the doubt goes to you.
Refunds go back through Payoneer, or another method we agree on, within 14 days.
5. Access, delays and cancelling
- You can cancel an audit for a full refund at any time before I have access.
- If you haven’t given me access within 30 days of paying, you choose: I run the parts of the audit that don’t need access, or I refund you in full. If you don’t reply, I refund you in full.
- If I can’t deliver within 72 hours of access, I’ll tell you before the deadline. You can then wait for the report or cancel for a full refund.
6. Your store and your access
- I use only the access you grant: Shopify collaborator access, view-only Search Console, and anything else you choose to share.
- I ask for the narrowest permissions the work needs. I don’t ask for access to your customer or order records.
- During an audit I don’t change anything in your store. I only look.
- You can remove my access at any time. I suggest removing it once you have your report.
7. Confidentiality and case studies
- Your store’s data and your report are confidential. I don’t share them, except with the providers and tools that help me run Singlehand, as far as the work needs, or where the law requires it.
- I publish a case study only with your permission. For the three launch-price audits, that permission is part of the deal.
- Every case study is anonymized: no store name, no web address, and no detail that would let someone identify your store. I’ll send you the draft before it’s published, and I’ll remove anything you think gives you away.
8. The Fix package
- If you want me to make the fixes after your audit, I send a fixed quote with a short statement of work. It lists exactly what I’ll change, the price and the timeline. Work starts once you approve it and pay the first half.
- Prices usually range from USD 450 to 800, depending on the size of your catalog. Most projects take 7 to 10 days.
- I’ll need collaborator access with permission to edit the parts of your store listed in the statement of work.
- Before I edit theme code, I duplicate your live theme, so theme changes can be rolled back. For other changes, such as titles or redirects, I keep a record of the old values so they can be restored.
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of product information and any claims on your store. If I rewrite product content, I send it to you for approval before it goes live.
- If something I deliver doesn’t match the statement of work, tell me within 14 days and I’ll correct it at no cost.
- If you cancel before I start, I refund the first payment in full. If you cancel after I start, I stop and hand over what’s done. The first payment covers that work, and you owe nothing more.
- Apps, theme updates and other people working on your store can change or undo my work. I’m not responsible for changes I didn’t make.
Monthly care isn’t open yet. When it opens, it will have its own terms.
9. What I can’t promise
- I promise the work, not the algorithm. No one can honestly promise rankings, traffic or sales. Search engines, AI assistants and your market change without notice.
- My findings are based on the data available on the day of the audit.
- You decide which recommendations to follow, and how.
10. Liability
- My total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it.
- I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, sales or data, or for losses caused by search engine changes, third-party apps and services, or changes made by you or others.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
11. Who owns what
- Your store, your content and your data stay yours.
- Your report is yours to use in your business. Share it with your team, a freelancer or an agency.
- My checklists, templates, methods and the content of this website remain mine. You may not resell the report or publish it as your own work.
12. This website and the newsletter
- What you read on this site and in the newsletter is general information, not advice for your specific store. Use your own judgment.
- The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter email.
- How I handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. The terms in force when you paid apply to that order.
14. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, email me first. Most problems are solved faster that way. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
15. The whole agreement
These terms, the payment request and, for Fix projects, the statement of work make up our whole agreement. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
